True! In the ‘Take A Bow’ video Madonna is literally in bed and hiding under the sheets, and crying as she runs down the street. In the title track she wants to ‘get unconsious’ to escape the pain. Beautiful album though, but very sad and lonely. Little did she know at the time, but just 2 years later her career fortunes had changed for the better and she finally had a child that she had longed for! By 98 she had a brilliant new LP, new sound, new looks, a new religion- finally she felt like she had just got home, and she was flying!!!

@Alexander hall- thanks for providing feedback, lately this website feels a little desolate! It’s a good website with interesting material, but hardly anyone posts- this is in stark contrast to Madonnalicious, where many people post and you’ll notice I express myself a lot there!

Just checked out “Trevvieand” website & I highly recommend it! The guy is a talented genius, he’s even created a terrific mashup of “Girl Gone Wild/ Drop Dead”: Madonna v Britney- it’s actually better than both original songs!! What a shame the music industry is in a decline because they aren’t making money these days, otherwise this guy would have been signed up and this mashup would have had a commercial release. The internet gets exciting for me when I discover these Hidden Gems! I Hope some other Madonna fans check all this out and then leave some feedback- it gets a little lonely just having a conversation with myself!!! So now what? Don’t just sit there, just get to it, check it out & leave some feedback- there’s nothing to it!

WOW! DOUBLE WOW!! THIS IS SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!! The way all Madonna’s various looks/ performances were put in perfect sync with the lyrics of the song is just BEYOND AMAZING!!! The person that made this should really be employed to direct/make Madonna’s future music videos!! I wish there was some way Madonna/ her team could be made aware of this- and it could be used in a wider way. ‘Like A Prayer’ holds a special place in my heart, it is the single that immediately converted me into a Madonna fan, and when I became a fan I looked back on her brilliant back catalogue and couldn’t believe how she had passed me by for so long. Needless to say I remain a Madonna fan to this very day, got all her albums and most CD maxi-singles! Maybe I’m biased, but Madonna was at her peak in both her beauty and talent during the years 86-93, she still great but she was mega great then! I look forward to checking out ‘TrevvieLand’s’ other material- he said he’s done something similar with my favourite Madonna dance song “Vogue”; as well as “Music” & “Holiday”. I hope he creates similar montage videos for “Hung Up”, “LaIsla Bonita”, “Ray of Light”, “Frozen”, “Bedtime Story”….! I wish Trevvie could reveal HOW he did it- but I imagine it was super difficult and time-consuming. I admire his obvious patience & work ethic- a trait that is possessed by the lady that made all this possible MADONNA!!

@Rabitbunny- I agree! Madonna should let the electronica go for her next LP (it was ‘new’ in 98), it’s time to move on with her sound! Evita proved that Madonna doesn’t need electronica, this further confirms it.

Agreed Nicky! Universal know next to nothing about Madonna’s brilliant legacy or body of work. At its best, MDNA is an underrated Madonna record that has been misunderstood from the start. I’ll call that Ciccone artwork The Reason for My Life and Where It Got Me (I’m Crying My Heart Out). Hey Madonna, my advice to you is this-Don’t Give Up! You Still Have Friends. As the songs Holiday, Lucky Star, Express Yourself, Where’s the Party?, Open Your Heart, Everybody, American Life and Crazy for You all attest from the Virgin to the MDNA Tours, Madonna has been and will always be a performance artis all her Brilliant Life-A History Book that will never close or end.
