A low quality clip of Madonna’s next video, Give It 2 Me, has leaked to Youtube.  The video clip has since been yanked by Warner Bros.

If you can find it online, check it out!

Give It 2 Me was co-written and co-produced by Pharrell Williams.  The video was filmed in early April 2008 in London, and was directed by fashion photographer Tom Munro.

Update: Turns out you can view the video at PerezHilton.com!

Perez says:

“We LOVE it.

If the videos for Borderline, Hung Up and Hollywood were to have a child, it would be this one.

It’s sooooo much better than the vid for 4 Minutes!”

Madonna auctions “private concert”

By Mike Collett-White

MOUGINS, France (Reuters) – Madonna auctioned a “private concert” late on Thursday at a star-studded dinner, raising 350,000 euros (278,000 pounds) for AIDS charity amfAR.

The biggest lot on a night of conspicuous spending was a restored 1976 Porsche 911, which went for 500,000 euros after rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs stopped bidding at 450,000 euros.

A diamond-encrusted Christian Dior mobile phone also fetched 120,000 euros.

The annual Cinema Against AIDS gala, hosted by Sharon Stone, is one of the hottest tickets at the Cannes film festival each year, with hundreds of guests travelling to nearby Mougins for an auction dinner held in a giant marquee.

The rich and famous lined a packed red carpet on Thursday, including Madonna, Combs and Stone, actor Dennis Hopper, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and actress Natalie Portman.

“I hope we all leave a little poorer,” said amfAR chairman Kenneth Cole in his opening speech.

He need not have worried, with the cheapest seats going for around $4,000 each, rising to $15,000 for seats nearer the stage. The overall tally for the night was over $10 million.

Stone, who having just turned 50 called it her “birthday amfAR”, showed clips of her travels around the world raising funds for the charity, while Madonna, 49, was in Cannes to promote her documentary about Malawi children orphaned by AIDS.

In what the Cannes media dubbed the “battle of the blondes”, the two stars shared the stage and engaged in friendly banter.

“I don’t say this about many people, but you’re a hard act to follow,” Madonna said. She described co-host Weinstein as “possibly one of the most, I won’t say irritating, but unstoppable human beings I know.”

“DON’T HUMILIATE ME”

Madonna offered to sing two songs backstage during her upcoming tour to two “very lucky people”.

“People have offered me millions to play at their Bar Mitzvahs,” Madonna joked after making the offer. When the bidding stalled at 300,000 euros, she added “Don’t humiliate me,” before leaving the stage.

Combs auctioned 24 hours in his company, promising: “I will fulfil your wildest dreams for amfAR and the children,” and “I will wake up with you.” The winning bid was 200,000 euros.

Weinstein could not resist lobbying at least two Cannes jury members in the audience to vote for Steven Soderbergh’s competition entry “Che” as the festival headed towards its final awards ceremony on Sunday.

“If you haven’t seen ‘Che Guevara’ you haven’t seen a masterpiece. If that hasn’t worked there will be cash on the way out.”

Judge approves Madonna’s adoption of Malawian boy

(05-28) 07:55 PDT LILONGWE, Malawi (AP) –

A Malawi judge has approved Madonna’s adoption of a Malawian boy she met in an orphanage in 2006. The 49-year-old pop star wasn’t in court for Wednesday’s ruling.

Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, have been caring for the boy, David Banda, in London. David turns 3 in November.

David’s mother died when he was a month old. His father has said he believed he could not care for him alone, and that placing him in an orphanage was the best way to ensure David’s survival. The father has said he didn’t object to the adoption.

Critics have said Madonna used her celebrity status to circumvent Malawian adoption laws — allegations she denies. Malawian law is fuzzy on foreign adoptions. Regulations only stipulate that prospective parents undergo an 18- to 24-month assessment period in Malawi, a rule that was bent when Madonna was allowed to take David to London.

Speaking to reporters last week at the Cannes Film Festival, Madonna said the criticism hurt.

“It was a big struggle, and I didn’t understand it,” she said. “But in the end I rationalized that, when a woman has a child and goes through natural childbirth, she suffers an enormous amount.”

Madonna and Ritchie have a son, Rocco, 7, and Madonna has a daughter, Lourdes, 11.

Madonna met David while establishing charity projects in Malawi. She is funding her own and six other orphanages in the country.

Her Raising Malawi organization also announced that the singer is funding a multimillion-dollar academy for disadvantaged children in Malawi.

“I Am Because We Are,” a new documentary that Madonna produced and narrated, shows poverty and disease devastating the lives of Malawi’s children, and urges people to volunteer.

More “Sweet” Sales for Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour

Ticket sales for Madonna’s highly anticipated Sticky & Sweet Tour continued to explode throughout Europe and North America, it was confirmed by the tour’s producer, Live Nation.

The demand for tickets in Paris for Madonna’s scheduled September 20th performance was so staggering that a second and final performance has just been announced for September 21st. The Sticky & Sweet Zurich show at the Military Airfield Deubendorf scheduled for August 30th has just glided past the 70,000 mark as Madonna fans buy tickets in record breaking numbers for that show as well as in Vancouver, where Madonna’s October 30th performance sold 50,000 tickets in a record breaking 29 minutes. In addition, due to instant sellouts in Toronto at Air Canada Centre on October 18th and Montreal at the Bell Centre on October 22nd, second shows in both markets have been added — October 19th in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre and October 23 at Montreal’s Bell Centre. These new sellout performances add to a list of sellouts that already include three sold out Madison Square Garden shows in New York City on October 6, 7 and 11 and sellouts in Boston and Chicago where a second show October 27th at the United Center will go on sale on June 2nd. Additional Madonna shows on sale this weekend include: Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, Miami, Las Vegas, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Atlantic City (see listing below for venue, show date and on-sale dates).

The Sticky & Sweet Tour, where Madonna once again joins creative forces with director Jamie King, is expected to surpass her previous sold out Confessions Tour in terms of production, visual enhancement, technology, dancing, singing, costumes and nonstop entertainment. A special stage is being created to showcase Madonna, her band, and a stunning troop of dancers, all of which will give fans a breathtaking never before seen or heard once-in-a-lifetime experience. Madonna recently gave fans a preview of what they might expect at promotional shows in New York, Paris and the UK which received overwhelming raves from critics and fans.

Madonna’s current CD “HARD CANDY” which debuted at the Number One slot in 37 countries remains the number one CD on Billboard’s European Album Chart along with holding the number one single spot on Billboard’s European single chart with the smash hit “4 Minutes.” In the US, “HARD CANDY” has remained a Top 10 album since its release.

The Sticky and Sweet Tour is being produced by Live Nation. For complete tour information, news, contests, and more, visit: www.madonna.com or www.livenation.com.
