Warning: If you get an e-mail that says Madonna or Salma Hayek have gotten swine flu, don’t open it. It may contain a computer virus.

Security firm McAfee reports that spammers are using the celebrities’ names to sell flu remedies and to spread computer viruses.

Be on the lookout for e-mails titled, “Madonna caught swine flu,” “Salma Hayek has swine flu” or “Swine flu hits Hollywood.” They are fake, fake, fake.

Both Madonna and Salma are healthy and flu-free. Keep your computer the same way.

Madonna is reportedly house hunting in the Hamptons for a home this summer, but some of her equestrian demands are rubbing the residents the wrong way.

Page Six reports that after boarding her horses at the Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack, Madge presented the estate with a 10-page list of demands. A source tells the column that among the things listed was the rule that “no one could be riding in the ring at the same time she was. It was laughable. They turned her down flat.” Meanwhile, she’s keeping her horses at her friend Steven Klein’s place, which is where she had her tumble a few weeks ago.

Neigh — er, nay, says a rep for the singer, telling Page Six, “Madonna never had any discussion nor were demands made regarding her storing horses there. There is no 10-page list of demands. None of that is true. No info regarding where and if she’s house-hunting. I get calls all the time about different places saying she’s looking to buy there in 10 different states.”

Madonna has been dealt a devastating blow in her bid to adopt Malawian orphan Mercy James — the child’s father wants full custody of his little girl.

The hitmaker wanted to become mom to the 3-year-old but her request for an interim adoption was turned down by a court in the country’s capital, Lilongwe, earlier this month.

Madonna appealed the decision and an African court hearing is scheduled for Monday.

But the singer’s hopes of the ruling being overturned could be dashed — Mercy’s biological father James Kambewa has now launched a bid to get his daughter back.

And he’s hit out at the 50-year-old, branding her “”scandalous”" and calling her failed marriage to Guy Ritchie and subsequent relationship with boy-toy lover Jesus Luz, 22, an indication of a lack of “”good morals.”"

Kambewa tells Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “”She is my daughter; she is my blood; she needs parental love. She is not an orphan. She lost one parent, yes, but I am still alive and so she is not an orphan.

“”Madonna has millions of dollars but that doesn’t make her a good mum. Parental love is more than money. Besides, I don’t think Madonna is a model mum. I have seen her in movies of her songs. She doesn’t portray good morals. How can a woman of 50 dance almost naked on stage? I wouldn’t want my daughter to grow up like that! In Malawi women respect themselves. Cultured women do not go about half-naked.

“”I also heard after her marriage failed she is already seeing two men, both very younger than her and her ex-husband. I hear one of them is even less than half her age. That’s scandalous. How can a normal woman fall for a boy who can as well be her son? No, spare my Mercy that scandal.”"

Kambewa has enlisted the help of the Human Rights Consultative Committee to acquire a lawyer to fight his corner.

In a letter to the organization, he writes, “”I have learnt that an American-musician called Madonna has applied to a court for the adoption of the kid, to which the grandmother has consented. However, I do not consent to the adoption because I feel I am capable of raising the child.”"

Madonna and Guy Ritchie agree on some things! She’s allowed her ex-husband to have the children for the three months she’ll be on tour this summer.

Madge’s Sticky & Sweet European leg of her tour will cover France, Spain, Germany, and other countries. And Guy is reportedly ecstatic about the news.

A source tells The Sun, “Guy absolutely dotes on his children and can’t wait to have them for a whole three months. He is surprised and pleased that Madonna is being so generous, as she is at times been impossible.”

This news is a little surprising because it comes just weeks after Madonna won a court order to name the US the boys’ permanent home. But sources say Madonna will be traveling a lot for the summer tour, and agreed it would be smarter to have the children stay put rather than constantly be uprooted.

Sources tell The Sun Guy is already planning on building an indoor pool for the boys, and wants to make it a “summer they’ll never forget.”

So cute! It sounds like Madge and Guy are finally able to put their differences apart for the sake of the children, which is most important.

‘Material Girl’

The strapless dress that Madonna wore in the video for her 1985 hit “Material Girl” failed to sell tonight at an auction in London.

The costume, inspired by the fuchsia strapless number that Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend” in the 1953 movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” was expected to fetch up to 80,000 pounds, according to the Fame Bureau, an auction house specializing in rock and pop memorabilia. Bidding stopped at 48,000 pounds.

The pink satin 1950s-style costume was one of five Madonna- related items being sold by Marquee Capital Ltd. The London- based company started in May 2007 has aimed to amass “the world’s largest portfolio of investment-grade Madonna and non- Madonna memorabilia.”

The “Material Girl” dress had been acquired by Marquee for $32,200 in January 2007 at an auction held by Barrett- Jackson Cooper in Arizona.

The head of the judiciary in Malawi will lead a three-judge panel in an appeal case in which Madonna wants to overturn the southern African country’s High Court decision to reject her application to adopt a 3-year-old girl.

The hearing before Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo and two other judges is set for May 4. “Since this involves an infant it will be heard in chambers,” said High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal spokesman Joseph Chigona. “This is an important case; that’s why the chief justice himself has taken special interest.”

Madonna, 50, is not required to attend the hearing although she may if she wishes.

Attorney Objects to Ruling

The appeal follows High Court Judge Esme Chombo’s dismissal of the singer’s application to adopt Mercy Chifundo James on the premise the entertainer does not have a permanent residence in Malawi. Madonna, who last year successfully completed her adoption of another Malawian toddler, David Banda, also 3, has visited Malawi three times.

Madonna’s Malawian lawyer Alan Chinula appealed Chombo’s ruling, calling it “erroneous.” Chinula contended the judge relied on an “archaic law” of more than 50 years ago. “We are hopeful the Supreme Court of Appeal will overturn Justice Chombo’s ruling,” he said.

Madonna found Mercy at Kondanani Children’s Village in the town of Bvumbwe when she first visited Malawi in October 2006, the same time she found David Banda at a different orphanage. Mercy was placed at Children’s Village following the death of her teenage mother.
