Madonna is back on top as “The Power of Madonna” soundtrack from the hit tv show “Glee” jumps into the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.
“I’m thrilled to be Number One.. It’s such an honor. It makes me want to go back into the studio and write more songs,” commented the Material Girl.

Morgan claims Madonna’s charity work in impoverished Malawi is nothing more than a charity stunt, saying: ‘I feel uncomfortable sometimes about the motives of celebrities and some charity work I see going on.’
‘I regard anything Madonna does with deep cynicism. There are people out there who literally view charitable work from what I can see as a fashion accessory,’ he told Recognise magazine.
Boasting of his advice about Cole’s marriage, Morgan gloats, ‘Her only failing recently has been to marry Ashley Cole, which any Arsenal fan could have told you.’
Teasing the Girls Aloud star further, the former paper editor says, ‘I kept warning her about him saying he’s not the guy for you Cheryl, you should be with someone more six foot one called Piers.’
But in an unwanted reminder he says Chez is doing a decent job of her fame.
‘I think the way that Cheryl Cole has rebuilt her life since the toilet attendant incident and become one of the biggest stars in the country and the way she’s changed the way she behaves is a great credit to her’, he says.
But turning his acid tongue back to Madonna’s camp, the 45-year-old also rants about the Queen of Pop’s best friend Rupert Everett for also exploiting charity.
On the St Trinian’s actor, Morgan snipes, ‘He was asked to raise money for charity. He just walked off! I thought “you pathetic little man”. His motivation for being there couldn’t have been for charity otherwise he would have stuck it out. Shocking!’
Think that’s you firmly off the Christmas card list, Piers! Read his full rant in the new May/June issue of Recognise Magazine.

APRIL 28: Madonna attends the 2nd Annual Bent on Learning Benefit at The Puck Building on April 28, 2010 in New York City

In a recent interview with ‘The Frisky’, the burlesque star said that the best vintage to be found is not in England, not in France, but in the good ol’ U.S. of A.
America’s a big country and there were a lot of really great knockoffs of great designers and, like, Betty Grable had her own line of clothes with different big department stores and so on. By far, the bulk of my best vintage collection is obtained in America, especially from 20 years ago when I started collecting. Even all the haute couture I’ve got, like Christian Dior, numbered book pieces, I’ve got them all in America! I’ve never gotten anything extravagant in another country, I have to say.
Von Teese said she has no idea how many pairs of shoes or corsets she owns, but that she has a nice collection of clothes:
I wouldn’t want to trade it with anyone. Except maybe Madonna — I bet she has a really great closet.

And this is why you don’t stop believing.
Glee claimed another victory in its quest for world domination Wednesday when Glee: The Music—The Power of Madonna debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart after selling 98,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The Madonna-themed episode, which aired April 20, also scored 13.6 million viewers, the Golden Globe-winning dramedy’s biggest audience yet. The studio recordings of the Material Girl’s music as sung by the Glee cast was immediately available for sale online after the broadcast.
In this day and age, when no one wants to pay for anything online, dropping $6.99 for a mini-album is nothing for even Sue Sylvester to scoff at.
Interestingly enough, coming in at No. 4 is AC/DC‘s Iron Man 2, the first time in the sales chart’s 54-year history that two soundtracks have debuted in the top five, according to Billboard.
Rounding out the week’s top five sellers are Lady Antebellum‘s Need You Now, Justin Bieber‘s My World and Usher‘s Raymond v Raymond.
