Last week she caused outrage and disgust when she flashed her nipple and then her bottom during her world tour in Israel and Rome.
But yesterday, Madonna decided to keep everything covered – well, almost – as she filmed her new music video.
The Material Girl, 53, was snapped in Florence in Italy on the back of an old convertible car sporting big bouffant hair, which was backcombed and held together with a black hairband.
She completed the look with a short-sleeved and low-cut black top and black leather shorts as she shot the video for her new single Turn Up The Radio.
She was joined by a group of semi-clad male dancers as they danced around before she sped off from an old petrol station in the car with a couple of them in the back with her.
Although she was seen from a distance, her manager Guy Oseary also took to his Twitter page to share a photo from the video shoot.
The video is being shot by Tom Munro who also shot her video for Give It 2 Me and Madonna’s longtime collaborator Martin Solveig has produced the track.
Even Madonna’s boyfriend got in on the action and was snapped walking around topless before joining the shoot.
He said: ‘We were working with no limits. I think the only thing that she said when we started was, “I just want people to be able to dance to my music and connect easily with my music and also probably to take some risks at some point.
‘Other than this, it was open to any kind of experimentation.’
Madonna, 53, is currently on her worldwide MDNA tour and performed at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday night.
But she has stayed in the historical city to shoot her video before heading to Barcelona on Wednesday.
