This was M’s answer to the girl group sound of the sixties. I think it’s one of the most straight forward love songs she’s ever recorded – her love letter to Sean at the time. It is a little cheesy in places and maybe too cutesy for its own good but I think she captures the joy of being head over heels in love very well and it kinds makes me smile a little when I hear it. I do think the song has some nice harmonies and the bridge is probably my favorite part. I don’t think this is a career highlight by any means but it is a catchy, sweet song and I think that’s all it was meant to be.
