Madonna must add a second part of the tour early next year to keep Celine behind, she had just added more and more dates, TC will surpass SS Tour. It would be such a shame considering it will be very close and Madonna only did 58 shows whereas celine 134.
MAdonna should add an extra 10-15 shows next year in Australia, Russia, Japan to make sure her tour remains the best grossing ever for solo artist (plus with so few dates)

In the last several weeks Celine Dion has added extra dates in her Taking Chances Tour because she knew that she couldn’t gross more than Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet 58 dates, despite having twice more shows scheduled (about 120 dates).
Celine Dion fans have been complaining on her forums that they have been tricked, they bought expensive tickets for her supposed final shows, but after that several more date have been added continuously. Don’t you get it, what Celine’s team did was to add those extra shoes so that they can make sure she overpasses Madonna’s SS Tour?
Celine’s tour was officially programmed to be over around 12 February (the same when her tour started, a year ago), but now it’s 26 February, because team Celine added more shows, realising that TCT couldn’t outgross Madonna’s SS Tour with only those dates, even though they were already twice more shows than Madonna’s 58 (around 120, now thay are 134 because of the last dates added in the last moment).
What Madonna and Live Nation should do is to quickly announce a 2nd part for her SS Tour early this year and put ticketes for sales. Madonna can easily sellout several stadiums in Australia, Asia, Eastern Europe (Turkey, Russia etc) and for instance easily add 50 million $ to her total so far (280 million $), from only 10 shows
It would be such a shame for her tour not to ramain the first tour for a solo artist, because there were only 58 dates in only 4 months, whereas Celine’s has 134 dates in more than a year (with the extra shows added in the last moment on purpose to outgross Madonna)!!! and even so it will be so close!!!
Madonna should stop directing stupid movies next year that nobody cares about, cancel all her side projects and concentrate on adding some extra dates to her SS Tour, she only needs 10-15 stadium shows (over 50 million $ in gross) that she could do in a month or so to maintain her record! I’m sure that’s what her fans want!!!!!

It would be such a shame, Madonna still can keep her crown! Go to Australia as promised, Japan was such a success with “Confessions Tour” and Russia too. Now she does not have a whinning husband to attend & take care of. SHE IS FREE AS BIRD!!!!

Here in Europe her tour was a complete flop…
Rumor : Madonna will announce second leg of Sticky & Sweet Tour early this year visiting Australia, Japan, Europe, Turkey and Israel. The tour will run from May – September 2009.
The show will have a few different costumes and a revised setlist including Dress You Up.
Jordan, I hope that is true!! THX for sharing…It would be a same for Celine to take top honors for the biggest grossing tour just because she was twice as many dates, when Madonna takes in 2 to 3 times as much per date.
Madonna is currently in talks to play in Belgrade, Serbia in August 2009, confirmation is coming soon. Madonna’s crew have mentioned to fans in Brazil that they have been contracted to begin a second leg of the S&S tour in Australia in May 2009 and finishing in Israel in September 2009. Madonna will tour Australia, Japan, Different European cities to 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour’s cities, Turkey and Israel. Confirmation for the dates will either by announced in Janaury or Febraury 2009 by Live Nation.
HELLO!!!!!! Madonna has NEVER been to South Africa!!!!! Can’t she make some dates in exotic places?????????? I would love to see her perform before I die. She has a HUGE fanbase out here. We’re just a few thousand kilometers away from Malawi. Maybe when she comes to get Mercy James she can stop over??????? PLEASE! I’M BEGGING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knowing Madonna, she wouldn’t add more shows for SS. If it’s over, it’s over. Madonna is concentrated on the bigger figures: profit. It was so stupid of Celine to add more dates when in fact she has to work extra hard with production costs will be mounting. Madonna is so smart. If Celine will outsell the SS tour just because she added a lot of shows in the last minute… it just goes to prove that she is threatened by Madonna’s influence. But again it will cost Celine more. Madonna can concentrate in reinventing herself once again with a new record and that will keep the public interested in her… while Celine will still tour nonstop and unfortunately Celine’s appeal will wane just like what happened to the TC album… no hits in that album… no impact at all… Bad move for the Celine camp.
