A MELBOURNE nanny has told how the strain of working 24 hours a day, seven days a week for Madonna drove her to the brink.
A week after she was sacked, Angela Jacobsen arrived home yesterday with nothing but kind words for the pop star.
But her Facebook website told a different story.
“Not putting up (with) this s— any more,” a furious Jacobsen wrote last month.
“Never have, never will. Standing up for my rights regardless of consequence. Sick of always being the one who compromises.”
The next day she wrote: “You know the score!!! No one messes with my party.”
A month earlier, as she prepared for a weekend off, Ms Jacobsen vowed to “make the most of my 48 f—ing hours” of freedom.
Ms Jacobsen was dismissed on the spot last week after she gave notice to Madonna that she intended to resign.
The party-loving 29-year-old yesterday played down her differences with the Material Girl.
“I think every job has tough moments but (they were) nothing out of the ordinary,” she said. “I have had a fantastic time. This is amicable, there is no hard feelings on either side.”
Ms Jacobsen, who played 24-hour nursemaid to Madonna’s adopted African son David Banda, was witness to the pop star’s bitter split with her husband Guy Ritchie last year.
Madonna was flying back to Malawi this weekend hoping to finally adopt the little girl she has longed for. Her determination to adopt orphan Mercy James, 4, was said to have been a major cause of conflict between her and Ritchie.
While Ms Jacobsen’s website postings paint Madonna in an unflattering light, they also reveal the jet-set lifestyle of a pop star’s nanny.
She spent Christmas at a UK country estate, New Year at a resort in the Maldives, then flew to Los Angeles in February, visiting Disneyland and other theme parks.
The nanny’s website made an apparent reference to one of David’s milestones.
“Took my little man to his first swimming class without me in the water today!” she said on January 13.
On March 19 she made the revelation that she would be leaving New York for good, saying it “was sudden and unexpected”.
“Highly qualified & experienced nanny seeking work!” she said. “Who wants me?! I’ll survive, they breed them tough in Australia!”

i doubt this woman will get a job nanny-ing for another celeb. what did she think she was signing up for? madonna is one of the busiest women in show business, and she expects her employees to be able to keep up. if you can’t hack it, why even sign up for the job? moron.
I am pretty sure that Madge told her of the demanding position that this idiot was applying for. I mean, come on, its MADONNA, the hardest working woman in the entertainment world.

you would have to be very hardworking for a position like that; i am sure she was well paid; sometimes people breakdown because they cant handle the energy and if they arent a good match for the job.
I have been working with two boys without ANY payment, just trades. I have lived and worked with KNOWN CELEBRITIES with many human errors made and sometimes they were very out of line. I have ALWAYS been supportive and endured. I have GONE beyond a job. I become the child’s REAL SPIRIT MOM ….when the real mom is away. I do not get involved in oomplaints due to the reality. IF ONE IS A NANHY OR CELEBRITY….BOTH HAVE ONE GOAL….TO ENRICH AND SUPPORT THE SAME CHILDREN TOGETHER AS A TEAM> I have lived with CLOSE FRIENDS of MADONNA and EVEN HELPED MADONN”s BROTHER in private matter and PEOPLE are human…NOT their IMAGE. I have kept PRIVATE as CELEBRITiES can cause HARM and DAMAGE to one that is NOT known if they want to by making ONE call to the media or other tactics. I BELIEVE that a CELEBRITY needs to be on their BEST BEHAVIOR and realize there must be COMPROMISE made by BOTH together. I have been HUMILIATED by a known CELEBRITY that I GAVE TIME TO PAST for a YEAR SOLID FREELY at her request. I did not need to do it….and she turned out to have TWO FACES…..not one. IF TWO WOMEN work as a TEAM to protect, support, educate and enrich the lives of the children that they are NANNY to….then the CELEBRITY is now equal with the NANNY. HOW could anyone NOT respect the ONLY PERSON raising their OWN child while they live their DREAMS???? I gave UP my dreams in ENTERTAINMENT due to many reasons….I have TALENTS but only looked at reality. RESPECT is the key word. I would WORK for Madonna or anyone if they had RESPECT for me as the child’s caretaker. I do NOT speak FRENCH but I could learn the best I can…I LIVED with a CLOSE FRIEND that is from FRANCE of Madonna’s for three years…..and she DISSED ME TOO for not speaking FRENCH. DOES MADONNA SPEAK FRENCH>>>>>>>>NO…….A good nanny is one that LOVES children like their own and gives gives gives gives from the HEART…does YOGA with the child…SINGS and TEACHES the CHILD MUSIC and ORGANIC EDUCATION so the CHILD LEARNS WHY they eat what they eat and learns to have FUN with their children. I LOVE CHILDREN ENOUGH that I would TRAVEL ANYWHERE DAILY to care for children and NEVER COMPLAIN. I would LOVE to work for MADONNA”S children….not work but CARE for her children any day of the year or century. I LOVE ALL CHILDREN like my own anywhere.
