Only 282k? It’s a bit low comparing her pass releases. I thought this album can do better than Confession On The Dance Floor.
I thik this figure is ok for Madonna at this time of year. 300k would have been good but it’s a 7th number one and that’s what matters. She will still hopefully sell a couple of million in the US by the years end.
It’ll be very difficult to get 2 platinum since the US radio still not playing her song much. I think Give It 2 Me will be charted on Hot100 but 3rd and 4th single will be in doubt.
I’m not sure about your thoughts on the album- But, I really really like it. I am a huge fan and have been for years- with that said. I dont like 4 minutes. I just cant get into it. This reminds e of older Madonna- think Bedtime Stories meets True Blue with a splashes of Music and Ray of light.

I have been obssessed with trying to follow the sales numbers on BILLBOARD.COM- that site is confusing to say the least.
I really hope this album does well.
