REMIX TREATMENT: MADONNA FT. AKON – CELEBRATION (DAVID GUETTA REMIX)

Akon-Freedom-vazandadon

From: mosuniverse.com

Madonna’s been keepin’ a little hidden treasure to release just at the right time… And I guess that time would be tonight! Check out this Akon remix of her current single “Celebration“. I actually LOVE the additional vocals that Akon added to the song… He breathed fresh, new life into this fun and uplifting song while staying true to the “feel” of the original version.

UPDATE: Turns out David Guetta produced this remix!

Click here to check out the remix – it’s amazing!!

Damn .. this should have been released when the single hit radio. It’s wonderful and the added vocals by Akon are great!

Yeah, I agree with you and if I were Madonna’s manager or an assistor I’ll advice her that :

as she’s going to make a very new mega mixes off (Holiday) & (Into the groove) why she doesn’t release them as the 2nd & 3rd singles off (Celebration) with video clips as :

    - Into the groove ( the Sticky & Sweet Tour performance ) it’ll be an advertisement for the DVD and out single from the S&S CD.

    - Holiday ( a Montage video just alike to “Miles away” but with covering 27 years off Madonna and her actions on tours and fans will gonna crazy for it , they love “Holiday” ) and in the CD-single she could put that version with MJ she used in the S&S tour and another version with Lady Gaga , as she already heard a DJ mixes “Poker Face” with “Holiday” while they were dancing when they were clubbing after SNL.

    * If everything go well so let go for the 4th single while she’s making her up-coming movie (WE) she can take a break for “Revolver” that gonna to-be sexy with that collaborating and early news off her reunion with some old productive & creative producers *-*

  • Nicky Prince of Pop

and yeah she can do it , they are plenty off time and why don’t hit a 5th single as she can use “Everybody” that great dance motivating song as a single and yeah with a video clip in a dance club just like the early demo but with making that more danceable queen Madonna with fans surrounding her and she dancing and singing in the club , that will be huge.

** as that all the songs contained at ( Celebration : Definitive of the Greatest Hits ) will be having a video clips and hot singles with amazing mixes, that then I can called a mega huge Collection album defined the 27 years off Madonna and completed all her achievements that found on her single / double discos on CELEBRATION.

    wow,

This should have been release to radio. It would have been huge…What is her manager smoking.. and i dont care what anyone says, I think is really really hot..

  • im a huge madonna fan and havent heard the akon mix and have no desire too madonna needs to realize she dosent need to lower her self with akon puff daddy kayne west she is like gold and their shit

  • Elisabeth

I looooove the song! and i want it!

  • PGnCA

And I don’t care what anyone else thinks…This remix is AWFUL. Get it! A.W.F.U.L!

I wish like hell she would stop using these no talent, teeny bopper, crap musicians(of if that is what you want to call them!?).

I don’t want to hear her with Akon/Kanye West(who is the worst human being out there)/JT, Timbaland…YUCK! (and I am 14 yrs old) I wish she would stop catering to the teenybopper market and start catering her..HER! Her talent, and stop wasting it away on these wannabe’s.

  • Dick

I can’t stop listening to this song. Love this remix.

  • Marie

    This is downright HORRIBLE!

I am sorry, but this era, this song, this whole catering to the US market, has left this fan pretty much, BLECK when it comes to her music.

I can not believe I am witnessing this..from a woman who I have admired since I was 8 yrs old(I am 37 1/2 now). The more she caters to the US market, the more it backfires on her. I understand this is the music she loves, but quite frankly this is the music she SHOULDN’T be doing. Doesn’t she want to be taken seriously? Doesn’t she want to be remembered as a great artist? I am sorry, she is not the art! She used to be, but not anymore. Shame!

  • Jay

I love the split: I LOVE IT / I HATE IT. Good times! :)

  • the real whore

I am actually in the middle. I like celebration, but I am not crazy about it. This remix doesn’t do much for me, but it is OK. I still prefer the benassi remix.

  • Marie

I am trying to like it. It is that damn Akon. I really don’t like him. And the music is ok..nothing special.

So it is still I HATE IT, for me.

I must admit though, I do prefer the Felguk Love Remix OVER this garbage.

  • Mistress of the Secret Garden

The AKron remix isn’t that exciting. I still prefer the Benassi remix, and Celebration has gotten tired pretty fast anyways, and so has revolver. I WISH SHE WOULD DUMP the R AND B sidekicks, it’s embarrassing for her to stoop to that level. I want Madonna to be a solo artist again without her leaning on R&B clowns to try to win over the USA audience. Hint, the USA radio market is never going to embrace her trying to be 17 with R & B producers. She needs to just go back to being her wonderful self, like an Ray of Light, Music, and Confessions on a Dancefloor.

  • wicked wanda

    I don’t like this!
This mix sounds Akon’s song featuring/guest starring
    Madonna.

It should be the other way around.
    IMPHO.

  • Marie

I still can’t get into it!

    Oh well…

I guess I will chalk this one up as…not liking it/hate it!

  • Anthony

This remix blows. Madonna is a person who has talent on stage live and in the studio. She is pairing with Akon who is only famous for his studio work, have you ever noticed he can’t sing live? I Hate it, it’s ridiculous!

  • Elisabeth

I LOOOOOOVE IT! :) I love it, love it, looooooooooooove it :) hahahahaha….. doen`t care what you people out there say, becourse i LOOOOOOOOVE that song, and this wersion. :) hahaha… Give it to me! :) I want that song!!!

  • yanni

    any1 know the lyris????

  • I Lov This Soongg and this version givet it to mee?

  • Black Heart

Hope we can download this one. :)

    Help….

  • Madonna starts and tries to work with all this Akon, Kanye n Timbaland coz shes trying to get her US fans base again. As the US music market now is sooooo low as they all just listening to boring R n B musics all time and to all that one hit makers or dumb barbie like britney, geeeess US has no taste at all. same like their president, their economics. shame country. They dont appreciate real talent like Madonna and forget what she has done for them for years. and they like britney n rihanna? get real, they r whore n dumd.

  • DMWN

Transparent clowns. All of this bellyaching about her trying to cater to the “US market” is just cloak code. You’re all just against her working with “R n B” / “R AND B” (only an idiot types it out like that, the rest of us with sense knows it’s tagged ‘R&B’) acts because it’s BLACK music and you racist pricks don’t want your ‘pure’ white/pop Madonna doing anything Black-related.

  • Texy

I LOVE IT!!!, it has a fresh feel to it with a thumping beat. I don’t usually like R&B music that much, but this is done really well. Akon brings a new perspective to the song while Madonna maintains the dance vibe. Anyboby who slams her for working with other black artists are forgetting that Madonna’s career began with black R&B producers and writers; Reggie Lucas, Nile Rodgers, Steve Bray…. This is the essence of her sound, she has always loved black music. The song is titled “Celebration” and that’s what we should be celebrating; the fusion of Black & White sounds to make really hot music!!!
Keep it up girl, You Rock!!!

  • Ya know, I’m getting really tired of all this bashing about the US on these comments. Now I agree, our music scene isn’t what the rest of the world is listening to, but it’s what we are listening to. If you don’t like it, then don’t listen. We still have a great country, a great President, and we still have our freedom to make great music. Let’s not forget, America gave the world Madonna. All she is doing is showing her pride and, yes, her R&B roots. Let’s not forget how she started and who influenced her career. With that being said, let’s hope she gets back into the studio with her new record company and lay the groundwork for a new sound!

  • stav

Too many Madonna fans are under the illusion that her career began with RAY OF LIGHT. Most of her first album was R&B-rooted, and much of her music kept a slight R&B feel up until the mid 1990s. Then ROL happened and suddenly people start to think that electro pop and electronica is all she was ever about, and now act as if she’s selling out by doing more urban tinged music lately. Madonna grew up in Michigan during the 1960s (Motown), cultivated her career in the New York (USA) dance scene during the late 70s/early 80s where Disco/R&B/Rhythmic/Hip Hop was being infused into the mainstream. What the hell do you think songs like “Borderline,” “Into The Groove” and “Like a Prayer” were at the time? I suggest all of you who have a problem with her doing R&B/US-friendly music brush up on your Madonna history before you start to run your mouth. The music she’s been doing these past two years has been *much* closer to her roots than MUSIC/RAY OF LIGHT/CONFESSIONS were. She wasn’t always Kylie Minogue.
