"Done on spec in December 2000 and sent to Madonna's management to absorb over
Christmas, it eventually got this reaction from the very lovely Caresse Henry,
Madonna's manager. 'All I can say is that it is brilliant, and one of the best
remixes I have ever heard!' We hadn't the heart to tell her it was made on a
little Mackie desk in a student flat above the only working brothel in Harrow.
Our PC was so overloaded we had to master it in two halves and stick it
together. But Madonna liked it so much she decided to shoot the video to our
mix, so we were asked to make a different version to fit the video concept that
Guy Ritchie and her were dreaming up - the now infamous 'Car-Crash' video. Four
weeks and no less than thirty-one different versions later, the video had a
soundtrack she was happy with."
